Lately, in the cosmetic field we have been hearing more and more often about plant stem cells. But what are plant stem cells?
These are primitive cells from which all the other cells that make up the different organisms, both animal and plant, originate. These primitive cells have the ability to multiply quickly and give rise to copies of themselves or other specialized cells. These cells are called totipotent precisely because they are able to differentiate and replace even those cells that are damaged or destined to die.
But what are they, specifically?
